I didn't have time to listen to a record yesterday. Tuesdays will always be hard to squeeze time in for this blog. It's the one day of the week I work two jobs, so I usually get a home and just want to chill out for an hour before crashing out.
But on this Wednesday night, I have The Alarm's Strength. I've always loved this record and this band. Unfortunately, it's sounding like I'm going to have to get a new copy on vinyl. After listening to all of Side 1, I discovered three skips. One on opening cut, "Knife Edge", one on title track "Strength" and one on my favorite Alarm song of all time, "Spirit of '76". I'll hold on to this copy until I do replace it though.
Side 2 is starting off as bad as Side 1 skip-wise. Skips all over "Deeside". Ugh, this blows. Note to self: Stop buying records for .99 cents. Oh, well....
