The Beatles- Hey Jude
Today is the first time that this blog has felt like a chore. For one, I'm tired as shit from going out every night this week. Which is highly unlike me. I'm a boring homebody for the most part. That's just how I like it now. And two, like I said last night I'm Beatled out. At least I've never heard this record even though I've heard all the songs on it.
When I found this record, I had never heard of it. But it was put out by Capitol in '72 as a Beatles greatest hits package. I suppose it just never made it on to CD which is why it was new to me. Even some buddies of mine hadn't heard of it.
This record does have some great tunes on it. If I was feeling the Beatles right now, I'd be way more into it. Let me just run down the tracks:
1. Hey Jude
4.I Should Have Known Better
6.Can't Buy Me Love
7.Don't Let Me Down
8.Ballad of John and Yoko
10. Old Brown Shoe.
Really though, how the hell do you put together a 10 song Best of Beatles album? That's got to be fucking tough. Alright fuck this, I'm going to bed.
I may be taking tomorrow night off from the blog. I'm covering a shift for a buddy at Waterloo tomorrow night and I'm gonna be even more tired than I already am. Good night.
