Bob Dylan- The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
Unfortunately this album has a skip during "Blowin' In the Wind" and "Masters of War". I figured it had to have a skip or two when I only paid a buck for it. I'm sure it would have been a few bucks more than that if it was clean.
This is the start of a few days of Dylan. I'm not a Dylan freak at all, but I do like him very much. Besides these records, I have another 10 or so on my computer, I've read his autobiography, and seen him twice live. Still doesn't make me a Dylan freak though. I just appreciate a damn good songwriter.
I guess if someone wanted to start getting into Bob Dylan, and wanted a recommendation of some of his albums to buy, this one would definitely have to be on that list. Maybe even the first since even the casual listener will know quite a bit of these songs. "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" is one of my favorite of his songs. "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" was one of the first tunes I learned on guitar. So yeah, lots of good tunes on this album. You should own it.
