Day 196

Foreigner- Records

This is Foreigner's "greatest hits" album that came out in '82, so if you are looking for that whiny "I Want To Know What Love Is" crap, you're S.O.L. That came out on the next studio record.

Definitely the record you should pick up if you are a fair-weathered Foreigner fan. I think even Jessica would probably recognize every song on here except maybe "Dirty White Boy" and "Long Long Way From Home". She's probably in the other room right now pulling her hair out while I'm listening to this. I threatened her the other night that I'm going to have our wedding DJ play "Waiting For A Girl Like You" as our first song instead of the one we have picked out. Ha!

It is a bummer that "Blue Morning, Blue Day" isn't on here. But other than that, you can't really complain about the song choices. Besides the tunes I already mentioned, you also have "Cold As Ice", "Double Vision", "Head Games", "Feels Like The First Time", "Urgent", "Juke Box Hero", and "Hot Blooded". See, it's a fair weathered fan's wet dream.

Here's a taste of Kelly Hansen fronting Foreigner. Just isn't right...

  1. "Even Jessica would recognize all the songs on here." What's that supposed to mean?!

    P.S.
"Feels Like the First Time" should really be saved for our wedding night.
