Billy Joel- Turnstiles, The Stranger, 52nd Street, Glass Houses, The Nylon Curtain, The Bridge
So where was I? Sorry for the long delay. I've been working non-stop without a day off since July 20th. Days and nights. But, we got the home remodeling job done. Well, the inside at least. We go back next weekend to paint the exterior. It's a lot of work, but the money's good. Perfect timing too since Vegas and my wedding are right around the corner.
Since I had this 16 day layoff, I'm sure glad that I was way ahead in listening to my records. I'm not going to talk about all these Billy Joel albums. That will take way too long. I will say that I really have enjoyed them all except for The Bridge. That one is going bye bye. And I'm proud to say that I never have and never will own River Of Dreams. Did I mention that before? Seems like I have, but it's been so long since my last post I can't remember. Whatever.
Favorite of the Billy Joel records I listened to was Glass Houses. It has two of my favorite Billy Joel songs being "You May Be Right" and "It's Still Rock n' Roll To Me". Two classic tunes. I'd have to go with 52nd Street as my #2.
Ok, that's it for tonight. I have a lot of other crap to catch up on. But I'll try to keep up with this nightly for the next few weeks. I want to be done with this as much as you do!
