Day 307

Journey- Evolution

This is my first post on our new computer. We bought a new Toshiba laptop to replace the ancient one we've been using. So much faster. I love it!

I was hoping to get through Journey before I left for Vegas on Saturday, but looks like I'm gonna come up short. I still have four left after this one. Oh well, I've been pretty crappy about doing this daily lately. I hope to change that after the wedding.

There isn't as many big hits on this record, but you'll recognize "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'" and "Just The Same Way". The last time I saw Journey two years ago, Gregg Rolie (who lives in Austin) came on stage to before "Just The Same Way". Pretty awesome and you could tell that Neal Schon really dug it too. I wonder if he'll come out to do that again tomorrow night. Man, I'm bummed I'm going to miss that show. I'd buy a ticket if I wasn't on a self-imposed ban on spending money before the Vegas trip. I really wanted to see Foreigner for the first time. Yeah, I know Lou Gramm isn't there, but I heard that Kelly Hansen is a formidable replacement. Plus I think it's cool that Jeff Pilson (from Dokken fame) is on bass.

Let me know how it was if you go.
