Day 308

Journey- Dream After Dream

I didn't even know this album existed when I found it in a Half Price Books box. Turns out it's a import that was a soundtrack to some Japanese movie back in 1981. After first listen, it's obvious why it was never released Stateside.

I don't think this album would appeal to prog rock Journey fans nor arena rock Journey fans. Shit is just weird. Mostly instrumental with a few tunes sung by Steve Perry. But even those are pretty lame. There is some real nice guitar work by Neal Schon on the album though.

I won't ever listen to this album again, but I'll keep it and maybe eventually try to sell it on ebay or something to some diehard Journey fan.
