Day 360

Little America- Fairgrounds

Raise your hand if you remember this band? I barely remembered them myself, but while shopping at Euclid Records in St Louis, I came across it and picked it up solely because I always did like their single, "Where Were You?"

I did have it on CD back when it first came out, but it's easily been over 20 years since I last listened to this album. Side One is really good with "Where Were You?', "Never Be Alone" and "Save Me", but Side Two was kinda meh. "Fairgrounds" is a cool song, but the rest is filler and their Byrds cover of "I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better" seemed really unnecessary.

Still though overall, glad I found it on vinyl. I gotta give them props for playing good jangly rock and roll during a time when hair metal ruled the landscape.
